This is the final trail report for the winter of 2016-2017 in Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula. Although snowmobile trails from Twin Lakes to Copper Harbor remain open through March 31st, grooming has ended for the season.
Trails have very little to no snow cover, are muddy and dangerous. Please use caution if you choose to ride.
Snowfall & Weather Report
The Keweenaw Peninsula received a total of 248.5" of snow for the season.

Saturday: Cloudy with sun in the afternoon, high 42, low 29
Sunday: Partly cloudy with an 80% chance of rain, high 47, low 39
Monday: 40% chance of rain in the morning then partly cloudy in the afternoon, high 46, low 35
Cross Country Skiing Report
Michigan Tech – All wide main trails tilled and tracked. Very good spring conditions. (3/30/17)
Swedetown – All trails tilled and tracked. Very good spring conditions. We plan to end grooming after the weekend. (3/30/17)

Mont Ripley – Will be open on Friday 1 pm – 9 pm and Saturday & Sunday 10 am – 5 pm and will then close for the season. (3/29/17)
