Prospector's Paradise is a large emporium of Earth's treasures housing all kinds of precious stones for the collector and an ancient copper culture museum with Native American arts and crafts, gem stones, fossils, mineral specimens, cutting materials, beads, and all local minerals including a new rare gem "Alexite", named after Alex the Rockman. It's also home to the mysterious vortex, a place some feel is bursting with natural Earth energy, possibly because of underground rivers in the area. Just to throw something else into the mix the land is said to be a Native American burial ground adding more mystery and allure to this impressive place.
A magical tree where the rivers run below it has grown into a spiral like shape collections of branches covered in knots making it look like something out of a fairy tale. People stand inside of the tree limbs and place their hands on the knots and claim to feel the healing energy of the land moving through them.
Open Memorial Day weekend to mid-October.
