Laurium Manor Inn

Built in 1908 by one of Michigan's wealthiest copper barons, this 45-room mansion in Laurium was the largest and most opulent of its time. A grand showcase of a bygone era, it was restored to its former glory by innkeepers Dave and Julie Sprenger, who have owned it since 1989. Featuring 10 guest bedrooms across 13,000 square feet, it is the most elegant and comfortable place to stay in the Keweenaw Peninsula, and is open for tours as part of the Keweenaw National Historic District centered in Calumet.
