The Calumet Visitors Center in the historic Union Building on Red Jacket Road is open to the public year round and is free to all individuals and groups and includes two floors of fully accessible interpretive exhibits.  Self-guided walking tour maps of the Calumet Industrial Core (Calumet & Hecla Mining Company properties with wayside signs), the Historic Calumet Business District (the historic commercial buildings) and the Historic Laurium Residential District (the area's historic homes) are available.

From late June through August the park offers the following Ranger Programs: CALUMET WALKING TOUR - Explore the former Calumet & Hecla Copper Mining Company's industrial area and downtown Calumet's historic business district. 2 hours, 1.5 miles, easy terrain.
