Originally a large but modestly decorated home, it was purchased by noted local architect Charles Maass in 1905 and extensively remodeled. We think he used this house as a showroom to attract commissions from the newly rich mine owners. He is the same architect that designed the Laurium Manor Inn. 3 bedrooms with king & queen beds, 2 -1/2 baths, one with a 6' whirlpool tub, 2 fireplaces, large front porch, 2nd floor sleeping porch, original oak woodwork, maple floors, washer & dryer, small garage, gas grill, TV, hot tub. No smoking or pets. 3 night minimum stay.
Available May through October.
