Architectural design is a fun and rewarding process of solving complex, multidimensional problems. In this three-part class, students will engage in a variety of hands-on activities and experiments designed to guide the exploration of the nature of architectural place-making through the directed study of the spaces around us. Participants in this class will record their observations and experiences in a sketchbook, build an exploratory spatial model, and develop an enhanced set of spatiotemporal superpowers applicable to a diversity of creative endeavors.
