Cy Clark Memorial Nature Sanctuaries
This 37 acre nature sanctuary is mostly wetlands vegetated with cedar, balsam fir, black spruce, red maple, and may different species of orchids. This fairly easy, .3 mile trail is also part of the 930 acre Eagle Harbor Township Conservation and recreation area.
To get there follow US-41 North to Phoenix and turn left and follow M-26 to Eagle River. Continue North on M-26 for about 6 miles until you approach the western edge of Cat Harbor. Park along the shoulder at the first "Prtotected Area" sign on the right. Small, blue diamonds mark this .3 mile trail through the wetland to join the Eagle Harbor trail system.
