Attractions: Cemeteries
The rich history of the Copper Country can be glimpsed by walking through one of our local cemeteries. Ethnic diversity and mining history are chiseled on gravestones, many in the original European languages. Ornate marble columns stand next to plain wooden markers. Enjoy this unique look at the past but, please, respect the final resting places of these hardy pioneers.
