Address: South of US-41 at Central, on the Gratiot Lake Road
The largest of Keweenaw Counties inland lakes, Gratiot is 1,438 acres with a maximum depth of 70 feet. Large northern pike, perch, tiger muskie and walleye lure anglers.

Otter Lake
Address: Pike River Road, South of Chassell
A popular fishing lake for the locals, Houghton County's Otter Lake has brook trout, walleye, perch, sauger, rainbow and northern pike in its 890 acres.
Pike Bay
Address: Along US Highway 41, to Chassell
Pike Bay, an arm of Portage Lake located in the Chassell area, offers great fishing for northern pike, crappie and bluegill. The Chassell Centennial Park on the Bay has picnic facilties, a playground, boat launch and swimming beach.

Lake Fanny Hooe
Address: Along US-41east of Copper Harbor, at Fort Wilkins State Park
Located in Keweenaw County, Lake Fanny Hooe is 227 acres with a maximum depth of 40 feet. This is a good walleye lake and also has brook trout, splake, smallmouth bass and largemouth bass.
Lake Manganese
Address: Lake Manganese Road south off US-41, at the Visitors Center in Copper Harbor
Keweenaw County's Lake Manganese is 52.5 acres with a maximum depth of 25 feet. The Michigan DNR manages the lake for brook trout through annual stocking.
Lake Medora
Address: Along US-41, south of Copper Harbor
Keweenaw County's Lake Medora is 695 acres with a maximum depth of 30 feet. Small, picturesque islands are scattered about the lake. Fishing is good for walleye, smallmouth bass and perch and the popular Montreal River is nearby.

Lake Bailey, in Keweenaw County, is a 204 acre lake with an average depth of 3 to 6 feet known for big, fat perch and northern pike.

Portage Lake
Address: between Houghton & Hancock, accessible from US-41, M-26 and M-203
Portage Lake cuts across the Keweenaw Peninsula and offers entry into the waters of Lake Superior on both ends. It is one of the premier fishing and boating lakes in the area. Northern pike, walleye, smallmouth bass, perch, crappie, sturgeon and punkinseed lure fisherman. This shallow 332 acre lake in Keweenaw County has northern pike and perch in abundance.
Lac La Belle

Lac La Belle, one of Keweenaw Counties larger lakes, is a 1,146 acre lake with a maximum depth of 39 feet and access to Lake Superior through the Mendota Canal. Fish include walleye, small & large mouth bass, perch, crappie, northern pike, and muskie.

Torch Lake
Address: Along M-26, from Mason to Lake Linden
Torch Lake is connected to Houghton County's Portage Lake, therefore has access to Lake Superior. Northern pike, walleye, smallmouth bass, crappie and perch make this a popular lake to fish. Public access and boat launch is available at Bootjack (along the Bootjack Road southeast of Lake Linden) and the Lake Linden Village Park. A shallow, sandy swimming beach is also available at the park.

Thayer's Lake
Address: Just off the Mohawk-Gay Road, east of Mohawk.
Located in Keweenaw County this 116 acre lake has a maximum depth of 10 feet and is a good lake for smallmouth bass and perch. The Tobacco River, a popular fishing stream, is nearby.

Clear Lake
Address: Clear Lake Access Road, south of Pike River Road
Located in southern Houghton County southeast of M-26, 28.4 acre Clear Lake has a maximum depth of 60 feet. This is a good lake for rainbow and brook trout.
Emily Lake
Address: Emily Lake Road, South of Twin Lakes
The 53.5 acre lake in southern Houghton County has a maximum depth of 90 feet and has rainbow trout, smallmouth bass and bluegill. It is located along Emily Lake Road south of Twin Lakes.
Lake Gerald
Address: Along M-26, south of Houghton
Access to Lake Gerald is from the access site on Lake Roland at the Twin Lakes State Park in Houghton County. Walleye, perch, bass and rainbow trout are the main catches. This lake is 255 acres with a maximum depth of 40 feet.
Lake Roland
Address: State Highway M-26, in Twin Lakes
The Twin Lakes State Park is located on Lake Roland's 292 acres in Houghton County. This lake offers up rainbow trout, walleye, perch and bass.
Pike Lake
Address: Pike Lake Road, southeast off M-26 south of Twin Lakes
Pike Lake is located in southern Houghton County southeast of M-26. Fish for northern pike, walleye, bluegill and perch.
Sandy Lake
Address: Pike Lake Road off M-26, South of Twin Lakes
A good fishing lake in southern Houghton County for crappies, bluegill and largemouth bass.
