The Lake House is built into a hillside with a main level and a lower walkout level on beautiful Portage Lake with a fantastic view and access to Portage Lake. It has 3,600 square feet of living area and 2,200 square feet of deck area. The Lake House offers four lodging options. It can be rented as a 1, 2, 3, or 4 bedroom home for your vacation in the Keweenaw Peninsula. The main floor will sleep 9 guests and the walkout lower level will sleep 8. The house has 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths, two complete kitchens with dishwashers, two laundry rooms, plus many other amenities. Both kitchens have granite counter tops and the home is equipped with a central vacuum system. Point Mills
From Dollar Bay, take the Upper Point Mills road for approximately 3 miles. This was the site of two stamp mills for the Arcadian and Franklin Mining Companies. In 1905 it had a population of 300. -
