The 3rd Annual Keweenaw Migratory Bird Day will be held on May 2 & 3 in Copper Harbor. There will be registration and evening activities at the Community Center on Friday, May 2 from 5 to 9 pm with a Raptor Research and Conservation presentation at 6:30 pm. Registration and activities begin at 7 am on Saturday with a full day of events including bird feeder building, birding hot spots with experienced birders at post and more. Presentations include the Birds of Prey Program at 11 am and again at 5 pm, A Natural History of Loons at 7 pm and the Manitou Island Bird Survey at 8:30 pm.
