The Copper Harbor Backcountry Snow Race will be held in Copper Harbor on March 6 & 7. This two day, stage race is based out of Copper Harbor and traverses over 17 miles of local singletrack. Not billed as a snowshoe or ski race, the Copper Harbor Backcountry Snow Race is open to any mode of travel powered by people.Registration Friday night & Saturday morning only.Stage 1 starts at 9 am at the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge on US-41 and Stage 2 starts at 9 am at the Ft. Wilkins Organizational campground on US-41. An awards banquet will be held at the Mariner on Sunday.
