4th Thursday in History

February 25, 2010
Calumet

The Keweenaw National Historical Park's 4th Thursday in History Series presents "Historic Home Movies" at 7 pm on Thursday, February 25 at the Keweenaw National Historical Park Headquarters at 25970 Red Jacket Road in Calumet.

Grab your popcorn and join us to view historic home movies of the Keweenaw Peninsula from the 1930s through 1960s. These short clips include footage of parades, mine sites, scenery and Isle Royale. Park Archivist, Jeremiah Mason, will also talk about how to properly store your home movies.

The Fourth Thursday in History series arranges public presentations on important aspects of Copper Country and regional history, including techniques for historic preservation. Presentations are scheduled in venues throughout the Keweenaw Peninsula, particularly at historic sites associated with specific topics. They are free and open to the public. For more information contact the Park at 906-337-3168.
