Motorcyclists tour the Keweenaw during the Keweenaw Ride-In on July 22 through July 25.

Thunder in the Harbor

The 2nd annual Copper Harbor Thunder in the Harbor, a Keweenaw Ride-In event, takes place Saturday, July 24 in downtown Copper Harbor. This presentation takes place on July 24.

Central Mine Reunion

104th reunion of the former Central Mine Methodist Church on July 25.

Civil War Encampment

History comes alive at Fort Wilkins State Park on US-41 just east of Copper Harbor tentatively on Friday, July 30 through Sunday, August 1. This event runs from July 30 to August 1.

Copperman Triathlon

The Copperman Triathlon comes to Ft. Wilkins State Park on US-41 in Copper Harbor on Saturday, August 7.

Copper Country Mineral Retreat

A week of mineral collecting and more at the Copper Country Mineral Retreat at the Seaman Mineral Museum August 8 thru August 15.

Art in the Garden

Tour some of the Keweenaw's many beautiful gardens and enjoy the works of area artists on Sunday, August 8.

People's Fair

You're invited to the People's Fair, a Metaphysical Gathering, at Prospector's Paradise just 3 miles north of Calumet on US-41 Friday, August 13 through Sunday, August 15.

Eagle Harbor Art Fair

Located at Eagle Harbor, this presentation takes place on August 14 and 15.

Kuparisaari Triathlon

The first ever Kuparisaari Triathlon, a half-iron distance triathlon, will be held in Lac La Belle on August 15, 2010 and will include a 1. This event takes place on August 15.

Heritage Celebration

Celebrate mining and ethnic heritage at the Heritage Celebration in Calumet August 21.

Great Deer Chase Mountain Bike Race

The 5th Annual Great Deer Chase mountain bike race will be held on August 21 at the Swedetown Trail system off Swedetown Road in Calumet. This event takes place on August 21.

Art in the Park

Art and music in the Grant Township Park, Art in the Park, in Copper Harbor August 21 & 22.

Houghton County Fair

The 2010 Houghton County Fair will be held Thursday, August 26 through Sunday, August 29 at the Houghton County Fairgrounds off Birch Street in Hancock

Carl Olson Memorial Adventure Run

The Carl Olson Memorial Adventure Run and Fitness Walk starts at the Chassell Community Center and is run on the Chassell Classic Ski Trails on August 28.

Fishing Tournament

Located at Lake Linden, this event takes place on June 4.

Rice Lake Fishing Derby

Located at Lake Linden, this event takes place on June 12.

Seafood Fest

The Seafood Fest, sponsored by the Houghton Rotary Club, is held on the Houghton waterfront in conjunction with Bridgefest. This festival runs from June 16 to June 18.

Bridgefest

The Bridgefest Celebration, always held on Father's Day weekend, takes place at various locations throughout Houghton and Hancock. This festival runs from June 17 to June 19.

Keweenaw Chain Drive Festival

Longest Day Fishing Tournament

The Longest Fishing Tournament is held on the waters of Lac La Belle, Copper Harbor, Eagle Harbor and Lake Medora. This event takes place on June 18.

Sibelius Academy Music Festival

The 12th Annual Finlandia University Sibelius Academy Music Festival will be held September 21 - September 25, 2010 at various Keweenaw locations. This presentation runs from September 21 to September 25.

Lake Superior Regional Rally

The Lake Superior Regional Rally is organized by the Lake Superior Region of the Sports Car Club of America, Inc. Located at Houghton, this event takes place on October 15 and 16.

The Keweenaw Cup

Located at Copper Harbor, this event takes place on October 23 and 24.

Keweenaw Nordic Festival

A full weekend of nordic skiing combining new and traditional events at the Michigan Tech and Chassell trails January 15 & 16.

John Dee Snowfest

The John Dee Snowfest 2011 will tentatively be held on the Keweenaw Peninsula January 28 & 29. Located at Houghton, this event takes place on January 28 and 29.

Heikinpaiva Mid-Winter Festival

Celebrate the mid-point of winter with a series of Finnish related activities tentatively scheduled for Saturday, January 29 in Hancock. This festival takes place on January 29.

Winter Carnival

Winter Carnival 2011, the 90th Annual Michigan Tech University Winter Carnival, will be held February 9 through February 13

Copper Spiel

The Copper Country Curling Club hosts the 4th Annual Copper Bonspiel at the Historic Drill House Rink in Calumet February 18 through February 20.
