Adventure Learning Ecotours and the Isle Royale Institute are sponsoring a Wilderness First Aid Course (WFA) at the Michigan Tech University School of Forest Resources and Environmental Sciences in Houghton from 8 am to 5 pm on May 31 and June 1, 2008.After completing the course, participants will receive a 2-year WFA certification through SOLO, a New Hampshire based wilderness medicine organization. There is also the option to become certified in CPR on Friday evening, May 30.No prior certification is required and the course is open to all.
