Summer

	Civil War Encampment The Battery D 1st Michigan Light Artillery encamps at Ft. Wilkins in Copper Harbor July 25 through July 27.
	Central Reunion Descendants of the residents of the historic Central Mine community have been gathering for over 100 years, this year on Sunday, July 27.
	Sibelius Academy Music Festival Finlandia University in Hancock, Michigan presents the 10th Annual Finlandia University Sibelius Academy Music Festival's July 30 through August 1. This presentation runs from July 30 to August 1.
	Copperman Triathlon Swim, bike and run in the beautiful Keweenaw outdoors on Saturday, August 2.
	Mineral Retreat The A. E. Seaman Mineral Museum at Michigan Tech University hosts the Copper Country Mineral Retreat August 3 to August 10.
	Eagle Harbor Art Show Art comes to St. Peters by the Sea in Eagle Harbor for the Annual Art Show August 9 % 10.
	Heritage Celebration Relive the rich heritage of the Calumet area at Agassiz Park during the Heritage Celebration August 15 & 16.
	Gun Show The Calumet-Keweenaw Sportsmen hold their annual Gun & Sports Show at the Old Calumet Armory on Red Jacket Road August 15 & 16.
	Great Deer Chase Mountain Bike Race 15 & 25 mile mountain bike races with 3 & 4.5 mile youth races at the Swedetown Recreation Area in Calumet on August 16.
	Art in the Park "Artwork, entertainment and refreshments all together in one of the most beautiful settings in the midwest. Located at Copper Harbor, this presentation takes place on August 16 and 17.
	Houghton County Fair Visit the Houghton County Fair in Hancock August 21 through August 24.
	Carl Olson Adventure Run 5 & 8k runs and a 5k fitness walk through the mixed forest and open fields of the Chassell Classic Ski Trails on August 3.
	Festival Joie de Vivre Celebrate the French Canadian heritage of the Keweenaw at the Festival Joie de Vivre in Chassell August 28 - August 31.
	Fat Tire Festival Located at Copper Harbor, this event takes place on August 31.
	Seafood Fest The Seafood Fest, sponsored by the Houghton Rotary Club, is held on the Houghton waterfront in conjunction with Bridgefest. This festival runs from June 18 to June 20.
	Longest Day Fishing Tournament The Longest Fishing Tournament is held on the waters of Lac La Belle, Copper Harbor, Eagle Harbor and Lake Medora. This event takes place on June 19.
	Bridgefest The Bridgefest Celebration, always held on Father's Day weekend, takes place at various locations throughout Houghton and Hancock. This festival runs from June 19 to June 21.
	Keweenaw Chain Drive Festival Located at Houghton, this event takes place on June 20.
	PastyFest 2009 Main Street Calumet presents PastyFest 2009 June 26 & 27. This presentation takes place on June 26 and 27.

Fall

	Lighthouse/Fall Color Cruise View the 10 Keweenaw lighthouses and our beautiful fall foliage aboard the Keweenaw Star on the September 20 cruise around the peninsula.
	Multi-Cultural Festival Celebrate the cultural diversity of Michigan Tech University and the area in downtown Houghton on September 20.
	Color Tour XXXIV 50k, 100k & 200k bike rides along the highways of the Keweenaw through magnificent fall color on September 20.
	Pro Rally One of the meanest, toughest pro rallys in North America comes to the back roads of the Keweenaw October 17-19.

Winter

	Heikinpaiva Mid-winter Festival Celebrate the mid-point of winter in Hancock at the Heikinpaiva Mid-Winter Festival January 16 & 17.
	Ice Fishing Derby The 18th Annual Greenlight Resort Ice Fishing Derby will be held January 19 on Chassell Bay off US-41 in Chassell.
	Talvitohinat The 4th Annual Keweenaw Land Trust Talvitohinat (Winter Scramble) cross country ski races take place at the Michigan Tech ski trails in Houghton January 17.
	Copper Island Classic Join us for the 42nd annual classic-style-only cross country ski event at the intimate and well-groomed Chassell Ski Trails January 20.
	JohnDee Snowfest Join fellow snowmobilers at the JohnDee.com Snowfest Snowmobile Ride-In on January 30 & 31.
	Winter Carnival Located at Houghton, this festival runs from February 5 to February 8.
	Junior Bear Chase The Copper Country Ski Tiger's Junior Bear Chase will take place on Saturday, March 14 at the Swedetown Ski Trails in Calumet. This event takes place on March 14.
	River Valley Bank Great Bear Chase The 30th Annual River Valley Bank Great Bear Chase Cross Country Ski Race will be held at the Swedetown Trails in Calumet on Sunday, March 15. This event takes place on March 15.

Spring

	Migratory Bird Day The 4th Annual Keweenaw International Migratory Bird Day festival will be held on May 1 & 2 in Copper Harbor. This event takes place on May 1 and 2.
	Fishing Tournament The 8th Annual Walleye/Pike Tournament includes the waters of Lac La Belle, Gratiot Lake and Torch Lake. This event takes place on June 6.
	Art & Music Festival Enjoy local and regional art and musicians on the Houghton waterfront on Saturday, June 6.
	Fishing Derby Located at Lake Linden, this event takes place on June 7.
