The Lake Superior ProRally is organized by the Lake Superior Region of the Sports Car Club of America, Inc., and has twice (1996 and 1998), garnered recognition as "SCCA ProRally of the Year." Although there has been some shuffling of positions, the award-winning organizing committee hasn't changed very much since then.This rally, held in Baraga, Houghton & Keweenaw counties, is billed as one of the meanest, toughest pro rallys in North America.
