Have you ever wondered what it was like to work underground in a Copper Country mine? The Calumet & Hecla Mining Company would hire college students as temporary summer laborers for various positions underground. Descend in the man car underground to 64 level with Jim and experience what occurred on his first shift at the Osceola #6 copper mine in June 1965. Presented by Jim Huovinen, Historian, as part of our Adventures in History series.
