The Klipfel Memorial Nature Sanctuary is located at the top of Brockway Mountain. An easy one-mile lopp trail starts at the sign and takes hikers north to a lookout that shows Mt. Lookout, Eagle Harbor and Lake Superior. This is an easy hike for all ages.From Copper Harbor drive west on M-26 and turn up Brockway Mountain Drive at the edge of town. Drive 3.4 miles up the Mountain Drive until you see the green MNA sign, which marks the trailhead.The trail is in a Michigan Nature Association Sanctuary. Foot traffic only is allowed in Michigan Nature Association sanctuaries. Please, no pets, no mechanized vehicles, no fires, no camping & carry out everything you carry in.
