Located within the boundaries of Ft. Wilkins State Park, Lake Manganese is approximately 1.3 miles south of Copper Harbor at the end of the Lake Manganese Road. This day-use only area is open from 8 am to 10 pm and offers a shallow, sandy swimming beach, picnic tables, vault toilets and a small boat launch. No fires are allowed and a State Park Motor Vehicle Permit is required.
