Copper Harbor offers protected harbors, inland lakes and open water paddling on Lake Superior. From the harbor you can easily paddle to one of the oldest lighthouses on Lake Superior. Other notable features are sea stacks and caves, waterfalls, historic fisheries and a Nature Conservancy site that has an historic Voyager and Ojibway canoe campsite. Traverse the path of an explorer probing unknown wilderness in a birch bark canoe, or the trail of the trapper seeking beaver pelts.
