Thayer's Lake

Just off the Mohawk-Gay Road
east of Mohawk.


Located in Keweenaw County this 116 acre lake has a maximum depth of 10 feet and is a good lake for smallmouth bass and perch. The Tobacco River, a popular fishing stream, is nearby.

Public access site and boat launch.
