This shop was built in the 1880's at the Cliff Mine location and moved to Phoenix in about 1906 where it operated until 1940. Owner and blacksmith Amos Bammert built buggies, sleighs and wagon wheels here. Many of his tools of the trade, including the forge, were left undisturbed when the building was closed. The shop and equipment are exhibited as they were at the end of the nineteenth century.
