Traprock Valley Schoolhouse

This 15 acre campus on the old Calumet & Hecla millsite along the shore of Torch Lake houses the Houghton County Historical Museum and the Copper Country Railroad Heritage Center. The campus also features the Traprock Valley One-room Schoolhouse, the Mineral Range Depot, a historic WPA-constructed log cabin and rides behind Old #3, a Lake Linden & Torch Lake Railroad steam locomotive. Admission fee. A Heritage Site of the Keweenaw National Historical Park.Gift shop on premises.
