The Isle Royale Queen IV operates between Copper Harbor, Michigan and Rock Harbor on Isle Royale and is a US Coast Guard inspected and certified 100-foot aluminum, triple diesel engine passenger boat. She is fully equipped with navigation aids and required safety equipment.
Passenger ferry service to Isle Royale National Park leaves Copper Harbor at 8 am for the 4 1/2 hour trip and returns the same day. Reservations required.The Evening Cruises offer lovely sunsets on Lake Superior.
Head out into the shipping lanes, enjoy the Captain's stories of the history and lore of Copper Harbor, cruise past Copper Harbor, view the historic Copper Harbor Lighthouse and see the rocky, forested coast of the mostly uninhabited northern end of the Keweenaw Peninsula. 1/1/2 hour nightly cruise (weather permitting) starting at 8:30 pm from July 4 to Labor Day.Service available from May 13 to September 29.Phone: 906-289-4437
