Central Mine Residential Site

Now a part of the Keweenaw County Historical Society, Central was a mining village of over 1200 people from 1854 to 1898. Many of the residence exteriors have been restored and a visitors center provides interpretive exhibits about Central.Self-guided walking tour maps are available at the Visitor Center.The site is open year round.
